I offer personalised sessions for expectant couples at which you can focus on whatever is most important for you.
For some people, focussing on the birth itself seems like the most important thing to do. For others, how to manage when you have a new baby is the crucial element of antenatal preparation.
With my MA in Infant Mental Health and my many years of working with parents in the early weeks of their baby's life, I have a vast knowledge of babies and of the experience of becoming parents, especially for the first time.
If you'd like to spend time considering all the practical preparations you need to make before your baby is born, we can do that together, going through all the guidelines for safer sleep and the day to day care of your baby.
I can teach you about what to expect from your newborn in terms of behaviour, cries and body language, helping you to recognise your baby's needs and to feel more confident in making decisions about your baby. We can also spend time on how to support your baby's development: social, emotional and physical. This is an area of particular interest to me.
